MERCED, CA – The Merced LGBT Community Center is pleased to announce a delicious fundraiser in February. Merced LGBT Community Center will be offering Valentine’s themed baked goods and balloon arrangements to the community in efforts to raise money to preserve its future as a valuable community resource here in Merced County.
The bake sale date is set for Saturday, February 6th from 10 AM to 4 PM in front of the Regal Hollywood Merced 13 Theater located at 403 W. Main street in downtown Merced. However, this is not the only chance the community has to satisfy their sweet tooth, as the Center’s volunteers will also be taking orders beginning February 1st. Orders will be available for delivery or pick up at the LGBT Community Center on Saturday, February the 13th and Sunday the 14th, just in time for Valentine’s Day!
The Merced LGBT Center is entirely volunteer run, and a number of volunteers stepped forward to make this event possible. All proceeds will go directly back to the Merced LGBT center.
The center doors are open Tuesday through Saturday from 3-7pm as a space for the LGBTQ+ and Ally community to engage with others, find resources and support programs.
