“I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for helping us get our story out about our struggles and to give a follow-up,” wrote Michelle Brannon McRee. “Since I wrote that letter to the President, multiple state and county agencies got involved. We now have a team of counselors and support. My grandchild has not required a hospitalization since and is continuing to show progress every day. And then yesterday this happened.. I received this letter from the President.”
We are so grateful that Michelle and her family are now being treated as human beings which has allowed her grand daughter to achieve success with her treatment. Thank you to all of our local metal health staff for helping us to tackle mental health with dignity and respect and to our president for taking time from running the country to reach out to Michelle and helping her and the many more who suffer daily.
