SHOTS FIRED INTO A DELHI HOME LEAVES RESIDENTS ON EDGE

DELHI, CA – Patrol Deputies  responded to the 1600 block of Shendel Road at approximately 0057 hours for a shooting.  The caller originally said that the suspects were inside the house and fired approximately 7 rounds in the kitchen. However it turned out to be false. During the investigation Deputies learned the incident was a walk by shooting.

The responsible parties are described as Hispanic males wearing dark clothing. Authorities believe the suspects  walked up to the front yard and fired several rounds  into the residence and left in a vehicle.  No one was shot or injured during the incident. The incident is believed to have gang ties. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sheriffs Office. All callers will remain anonymous.
