MERCED MAN ARRESTED FOR METH AFTER SEARCH WARRANT SERVED

MERCED, CA –  Merced Police Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) Officers received information that Christopher Lopez was in possession of narcotics at his home on Phoenix Way in Merced. Officers were able to get a search warrant for Lopez’ residence and the warrant was served at the residence on 5/4/2016. Lopez was present at the residence when four (4) bindles of meth was located inside of his home. Officers arrested Lopez, during which time Lopez resisted arrest, but was subdued by the officers without further incident. Lopez was later booked at the Merced County Jail for possession of meth for sales and resisting arrest.
